Living Open Handed
I'm learning to accept the gifts God hands me when he answers my most specific prayers, believing I am beloved
We have had the craziest month ever in a very unexpected but good way (we thought we were done with this kind of thing for some reason?).
I am so excited to write out the story and tell you, but for now, I don't have any time to write. Even when I do, my mind is too busy and mushy to organize and write coherent thoughts. It’s all still in process anyway, so what’s the point? Our inner circle is getting the play-by-play, and I can hardly keep up with making sure they all stay in the loop (if that’s one of you, I’m so sorry!). I’m juggling more than I can hold right now.
My mind keeps going back to all the times of watching the details come together for us in the past—our wedding, nearly all of our moves, Garth’s job that he has now. God is working out all the details without any finagling on our part, as he does. Our hands are simply open.
So, I have a good story coming soon, I promise. I wasn't planning a long writing hiatus, but here we are.
Life is completely nuts. We're celebrating. We’re waiting and preparing for all the possibilities.
In the meantime, would you pray? We need some things to come together that are out of our control. We recognize this, and we wait to see how it all goes. Pray for the details to work out and for our hearts to be ready for what’s next. Thank you.
Talk to you soon, Beloveds. How can I pray for you?
Praying for you and your family with this new development, Bre!
This sounds exciting! I'll be praying for you. Even though I'm quite certain the details of our respective whirlwinds are different, since you're asking, you might pray for me and my husband in our present whirlwind, too. Again, good. Again, a lot!
